An addicted one, at that. He says in a NY Times article
that, and I quote, "A ban on smoking in cars when a minor is present is
absurd." Maybe if he ever has to watch one of his kids die a slow and
painful death, as my grandmother did, he'd feel differently.
Although he cleverly uses the analogy that we don't police peanut butter, even though some kids are allergic to it, I think he misses the point. How many peanut butter addicts do you know, and how often do they cause others to ingest peanut butter at the same time they do, just by opening the lid?
Gary's words sound like an addiction talking. What do you think?
